The Wild Robot

The Wild Robot is a pretty cool book. I liked how the writer created suspense in the end of the story because it leaves you with a pretty big cliffhanger. One of my favorite things in movies and stories are cliffhangers. For example in the Star Wars Trilogy, each one makes you want to watch the next one because of the cliffhanger. I would love to see what happens to Roz as her story continues.

By definition, happiness is feeling in charge of your life or being delighted pleased or glad over a particular thing. In some ways Roz cannot be happy because she is not incharge of herself but she finds a way to create happy moments and moments of delight by making decisions on her own. So to me I believe that Roz feels happy.

Roz seems to have happiness even though she would not because she is a robot and happiness is a human emotion however there are samples of happiness throughout the book. Two examples of this is when she adopts Bright Bill the gosling, the second is when she is in the nest with all of her friends. When she was in the nest over the winter, with all the other animals all huddling up, she understood that all she needed was for the gosling to kind of feel happy and being around all the other animals did that.  Roz also made a rule that every animal in the nest could not eat each other. this is important because this gives every one a chance to get along more.Another example of Roz feeling happy is when she initially adopts the gosling. It made her feel happiness because she was able to take him and give him love and care.

Covid 19

Hello today i’m going to tell you about covid 19 and how being at home is worse than being at school :0. i will tell three things that are bad and three things that are good about doing work at home.

Being at home is bad because:

You have to do a lot more work than you’re used to.

There’s a lot more homework to do at home.

And your mother looks over your shoulder every second of the day.

Now, the good things about living at home:

You get to play video games when you’re done with work.

You can stay in your pajamas all day.

And you can take a huge nap during most of the school day.

Those are the three pros and cons of staying home. Oh, I forgot another bad thing about staying home: you can’t go out and play with your friends. Good-bye donuttiers, stay home and stay safe!!!!!

lit circles #4

Hi guys, today I’ll be doing my lit circles homework on dear canada: turned away. if you don’t know what lit cercles is, I’ll tell you, lit circles is when you read book with a group of 4  and when your done one portion, of it you stop and share the role you were assigned to do. My job for lit circles was “Vocabulary Enricher”. My job was to write words I thought was interesting from the book, write what page the word is on, find the definition, and create a sentence with it. my first word is:

. Starvation, it can be found on page 114, the meaning of starvation is “extreme hunger”, and my sentence is “If you don’t eat you’ll die from starvation”.

.organization, found on page 142, meaning:  the action of organising, my sentence: “Ill be opening a research organization tonight.

.and Mercilessly,  found on page 137, meaning: in a way,shows no mercy,  my  sentence: The injured were mercilessly slaughtered.

Emoji Hacks :)

hey guys (and girls), so today I’m going to tell you guys (and girls) how to use hacks especially emoji hacks. Ill start by showing you guys(and girls) how to make a smiley face, first you put the eye’s which is a colon :, then you put the mouth which is the close parenthesis ), then you put it together and it makes this 🙂 it almost always  works. Now ill show you how to make a sad face, first make a colon : then make the starting parenthesis ( then put them together and bam!!! you made a sad face 🙁 now I’m going to show you how to make a wink face now for this one your going to do one of these ; (yes I don’t know what their called ok), then you make the close parenthesis ) not the starting ’cause the it won’t work.

A year in review .Happy new year

I loved 2019 did you? [comment in the comment section below]I went to mount Rushmore in the summer, I got a switch lite for Christmas, I went skating [like I said I would], and I played water polo.

In 2020 i’m looking forward to getting a phone for my birthday and going to control V.[virtual reality].

My Christmas traditions!!!

Hey Donuttier’s  it’s the holiday’s and I’m gonna tell you about my Christmas tradition’s. for My Christmas tradition’s I go skating with my dad and brother! This year I’m going to Assiniboine park to skate on ice there.

In the morning of Christmas eve, for breakfast, my dad makes oranges with powder sugar. After church on Christmas eve, I go back home and open present’s. After  we go to my grandma house. There’s over 50 of us! at my grandma’s house we have a dance party,and then we have food then my family [without me] watches a movie called merry Christmas Sammy.It’s about a boy named who Sammy runs away from home. There is really nothing else I can say.

at my church, I’m staring in a play. [I only have like 7 lines]I’m superman,[not my idea] and I say the most cheesiest lines.[again, not my idea] well that’s it for now, see you later.
